It is Like I am Grieving the Loss of a Good Friend

I have nine days to pay GoDaddy $200 in hosting fees before the Healthy Moms Magazine disappears forever. I spent 12 years writing for, developing and building a brand for that site.

I built up a community of over 55K members and published articles from nearly 200 professional bloggers and experts.  I got that site to reach nearly 100,000 page views a month and 80,000 unique visitors.  The Healthy Moms Magazine had a Moz page rank of over 40 and a DA of 35. I spent time, effort and money on SEO campaigns in order to hit those statistics.

I featured several well known experts and still have a line of experts wanting to contribute to my magazine.  The world famous pediatrician, Dr. Sears even contributed an article for us. If I don't pay the hosting fees in time I am going to lose everything, including all the files associated with the site.

I have really old posts that documented what was going on in my life when my kids were little. I want to turn those into a second book, but if all my files are gone this will never happen.  All those memories will be gone as well.

In desperation I set up a GoFundMe page.  I sent hundreds of emails to bloggers and people I have been in contact with though email because of the Healthy Moms Magazine.  So far I have only raised $10.  I don't know what else to do.

If I can't come up with the money quickly I will have to go door-to-door selling Avon. I don't want to do that.  I love being an Avon Independent Sales Representative but I hate asking people to purchase something from me.  I would rather have them come to me.  I am on Google maps and have my own website for my Avon business and have gained several new customers that way.  But, I don't get enough sales to cover business expenses for my other business.

I don't know what else to do. Did I say that already? For now I am going to continue to email people my GoFundMe page and share it over and over on social media and hope for the best.

On October 4, 2019 I might have to say goodbye to an old friend.  Maybe we will even have a funeral.
