When Monkey wants something he goes and gets it by pushing the dining room chairs all over the house. Sharp knives, small appliances, and household cleaning supplies are his favorites. I can not put them high enough.

Why Do Boys Follow Their Moms Around?

I love my three little boys but sometimes they can be like hemorrhoids. They can be a pain in the butt and no matter what you do you just can not get rid of them.



They follow me into the kitchen when I am trying to do the dishes.

I am trailed up the stairs, into my bedroom and into my bathroom.

We play follow the leader around the house while picking up the toys.

They stick with me like glue when I go into the garage to throw away a dirty diaper.

I love my boys, but I desperately need five minutes of alone time.

Do your kids follow you around or am I just super loved?

Get to Know Goose

I haven't talked too much about my wonderful teenage daughter whom we have nicknamed, Goose yet. I suppose you are wondering why we call her "Goose." She dislikes this title but I am sure once she understands the meaning she will grow to like it.



Geese are majestic birds who tend to travel in groups and spend a lot of time protecting their young. The Goose is female, males are called ganders and their young, goslings. These birds are beautiful and caring.

"Goose" is my beautiful and caring teenage daughter. She helps us out by caring for her young siblings just like a real goose takes care of her goslings. She enjoys being around her friends just like geese surround themselves with other geese.

For these reasons we decided to nickname her "Goose."
